"First Love" is Hidenobu Ito's second full length album released
in 2002. Ito skillfully utilizes samplers, synths, guitars, and toy instruments
to create 20 songs of cut up and collage based wizardry. Seamlessly combining
his handmade aesthetic with impulsive sounds, Ito succeedes in producing groovy
music with diversity and warmth. Electronics, soul music, and avant-garde elements
coexist in this album organically. |

Hidenobu Ito started making music from about 1990, and got his start by producing
tracks for various compilations and soundtracks. In 1999, he released the "Heaven
EP" and "Bedroom In The Cage" album from Japanese label NS-COM.
His unique tracks, distinct sound design and original concepts, gained him both
domestic and foreign recognition. From 2000, he actively started to perform live,
and has been collaborating with various artists. |
